Support the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is a collegiate and professional fraternity founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C. on January 9, 1914, by three young African-American male students with nine other Howard students as charter members. The local chapter at CMU was founded on May 18, 1979 by Winston K. O’Neal and William D. Allen.

The fraternity motto is “Culture For Service and Service For Humanity” and its pillars are Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. After celebrating 40 years on campus in 2019, the fraternities alumni established this endowment to cement their legacy for future generations of men and women.

The vision for this endowed scholarship is to provide an opportunity to future students. The successful applicant will demonstrate an active commitment to the participation of underrepresented communities in educational pursuits. This is a need-based scholarship that will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student who is a resident of Michigan.

The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma are now asking for your help!
